Coma Cinema at Greenville Presents

Locals neighboring from Spartenburg, Coma Cinema played an amazing set Saturday night at the Greenville Presents gallery.

You can check out photos from the show here. We also finished shooting for Coma Cinema’s music video for Flower Pills, from their debut album Baby Prayers. We’ll be sure to keep you posted when the editing is complete!

Baby Prayers is available for free on their website. We highly recommend downloading!

Thanks to all who came out on Friday for Greenville Presents gallery opening! a big, big thanks to all of the wonderful artists who participated in our first group show.

Lots of wonderful new faces, plenty of BBQ with all the fixins and a great performance by The Honeycutters (we’ll have video up shortly of their performance)!

last night’s Matt Butcher show kicked off the unofficial opening of the Greenville Presents gallery. We had a killer turn out! Thanks to everyone who showed up and supported! We’re uploading photos throughout the week – you can check them all out here.

Sneak peak!

The Greenville Presents gallery opening is coming Friday, October 16 at 8pm! With solo works by Katie Barron, Sterling Bartlett, Angie Hoffmeister, Jacob Van Loon, Jessalyn Wakefield and Matthew Wheelock — this show promises to be a soulful good time with original artwork from all over the world, BBQ and a special bluegrass performance by the Honeycutters.

The gallery space at Greenville Presents curates a consistent rotation of refashioned and original clothing pieces from designers from all over the world. We also showcase vintage pieces, selected with lots of southern hospitality from all over the Carolinas.

For consideration by Greenville Presents, please submit the following via email:

1. 15-20 works in digital format that cover the reach of your artistic output, but focuses on your most recent works. Link(s) to online portfolio (blog, flickr, tumblr, etc.) or images sent via erica@greenvillepresents.com are acceptable.
2. A brief artist’s statement explaining your influences and artistic perspective.

today we went in and started working on the space, taking in good jams and getting stoked on the being able to open up the gallery space to all of you here in Greenville. here are a few sneak peaks:

we’re busy at the greenville presents gallery space busting down walls and polishing floors, but got a chance today to meet our neighbors. delicious and southern in every way, mike & jeff’s BBQ diner. we can smell the smoker all day long (sorry but we’re not complaining!). plan on grabbing some grub and heading over to the space!

Greenville Presents is now located at 2309 Old Buncombe Road in downtown, Greenville, SC. The 1700 sq. ft. gallery space will be dedicated encouraging and presenting new and emerging artists, musicians, filmmakers and designers to greater Greenville, South Carolina.
